The System Innovation and Improvement department serves as a catalyst for systemic improvement across Fresno County. Through expert leadership coaching and development, technical assistance and data-driven decision-making support, we assist school districts and community partners in delivering exceptional services and fostering positive outcomes for every student.  Our ultimate goal is to help school and district leaders make decisions that improve outcomes for students!
 We support schools and districts by:

• Driving systemic improvement: We actively work to enhance the effectiveness of educational systems within Fresno County districts and its partners, including initiatives related to the Statewide System of Support and the California Community Schools Partnership Program.
• Empowering data-driven decision-making: We provide critical expertise, training, and support to school districts and community partners, helping them leverage data for informed instructional, administrative, and program-related decisions. This includes developing and utilizing state assessment resources, data-sharing agreements and cross-sector datasets.
• Coaching educational leaders: We offer targeted coaching and mentorship to educational leaders, fostering their professional growth, refining leadership competencies, and supporting their strategic decision-making to enhance student outcomes and organizational effectiveness.
• Fostering collaboration: We actively collaborate with LEAs, state agencies, district leaders, and community partners, facilitating workshops and networks to share best practices and enhance connectivity.
